Genesis Academy Trust merged with the First Federation Trust on 1st June 2017.
During the 2011-12 and 2012-13 academic years, the First Federation schools were part of two different Trusts: the Primary Academies Trust (PAT) and the Primary Academies Voluntary Aided Trust (PAVAT). All the First Federation schools became part of the PAVAT, which was renamed The First Federation Trust, with effect from 1st September 2014.
