Parent Directors and Parent Representatives represent the voice of a parent not the voice of the parents. Their primary expertise is as a parent.
One parent representative is elected for each school of the Federation, from which two parent directors are appointed onto the board of directors. There are also two parent representatives on each governance Hub Advisory Board.
Parent representatives are linked to two schools: the one attended by their children and one other school within the same hub. They undertake monitoring visits to both schools and report the outcome of their Hub Advisory Board. The focus of the visits is set by the board of directors.
